3.3 Downloading images Searching for images To find the images you need, use the simple search on the left, go to the Advanced search, or simply browse our huge category list. If you like the pictures of a certain user, you can even browse their galleries. Results can be sorted by different parameters, such as popularity, downloads and date. Looking for new additions? Select New Images from the category menu. If you'd like to know more about or download an image, click on its thumbnail to go to the preview page. Using lightboxes You can store your favourite images in containers called lightboxes. One of your lightboxes - the one that's currently active - is always visible at the bottom of the page, unless you closed or deleted it. In that case, just open it, or create another one. You can put items in the active lightbox from search results and image preview pages as well, you just have to click on the link under the thumbnails. It's easy! How downloads work In order to be able to download images, first you need to purchase some download credits or get a subscription. Single downloads To download an image, first click on its thumbnail, select the size and press Download. After this you will be prompted with a confirmation popup. If you click on "yes" and have enough download credits, you will be redirected to the download page and a save file dialog window should appear in a few seconds. If for some reason it does not appear, don't worry, just click on the direct link to the file. (You may have software installed that blocks pop-ups, or other browser related settings may prevent the save dialog from appearing.) If you have a subscription and the file is not available through subscription plans, you will have to buy extra credits to get it. If you have some credits, the site will automatically use them. Bulk downloads Downloading several images in one pack can save you a lot of time. Just put your favourite images in a lightbox and click on Download all. You will have to select the size you need for each image and submit the form. Depending on the total file size of the images selected, you will either be prompted with a save file dialog window, or you will have to go to our FTP server to get the zipped package. FTP info: Server: stockxpert.com Username / password: Your Stockxpert username / password Folder: downloads Tracking downloads You can track your downloaded files on the My account / Downloads page. Each downloaded image will be available for you for free for 3 hours. If you would like to download it again during that time, you will not be charged, so you don't need to worry if for some reason your download got aborted. To download the image once again, please click on the small diskette icon at the end of the row. The rest of the procedure is the same. Problems If the file you downloaded seems to be damaged, please try getting it again (within 3 hours you can get the same file for FREE), and if it still looks damaged, please contact our customer support so that we can fix the file and/or give you a refund.
