4.4 Graphics upload rules For the graphics section of the site we're looking for illustrations, character designs, icon sets, digital paintings, renderings and all sorts of digital compositions that can be used for stock, either in rasterized or vector format. (A) RULES FOR RASTERIZED GRAPHICS MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS file format: JPEG (RGB) maximum file size: 16 megabytes minimum dimensions: 800*600 pixels THINGS TO DO BEFORE UPLOAD Simply rasterize your work and save it in a high quality, high resolution JPEG file. DO NOT UPLOAD images containing copyrighted material (paintings, posters, advertisements, cd / book / dvd covers, logos) adult / violent content images with bad JPEG quality images that don't require any effort (images made by fractal generators, default items in 3D rendering software, etc.) traced portraits without model releases SIZING INFORMATION Images on Stockxpert come in the following sizes depending on the original size of the uploaded image: XS ~ 0.2 megapixels S ~ 0.5 megapixels M ~ 2 megapixels L ~ 4 megapixels XL ~ 8 megapixels XXL ~ 15 megapixels or more (B) RULES FOR VECTOR FILES MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS JPEG (RGB) rasterized sample file, 800*600 or higher ZIP file containing vector file (Adobe Illustrator 8 EPS) maximum file size: 16 megabytes each THINGS TO DO BEFORE UPLOAD At Stockxpert our main focus is on quality, and to ensure the highest possible quality please take the time to adjust your work along the following guidelines. We reserve the right to reject vector files we don't find suitable for the site. Prepare the vector file Convert all text to outlines, delete unwanted objects and save your artwork as an Illustrator 8 EPS file. Use ZIP to compress the file. Prepare the sample Create rasterized sample file in JPEG format, 800*600 pixels or higher (can go up to XXL). The JPEG sample file will be handled like any other image on the site: depending on its size several versions will be created and they will be available for download (see the sizing information above). This way users who don't use vector graphics software will still be able to work with them. Optional extras Add extra file formats to the ZIP file if you like (Adobe Illustrator AI, Adobe Illustrator EPS (up to CS2), Corel Draw CDR, Adobe Photoshop PSD (RGB) etc.) DO NOT UPLOAD zipped files that do not contain an Adobe Illustrator 8 EPS vector files containing text that weren't converted to outlines any material that you didn't create yourself or have no permission to use traced images of people for which you don't have a model release images with unwanted objects outside the artboard images with unclosed paths that are filled with color images with radial gradient fill (use linear gradient fill instead) CATEGORY INFORMATION Vectors on Stockxpert come in four categories depending on the level of detail: Simple vectors icons (1-5), ornaments (1-5), cartoons, traced images or silhouettes, simple backgrounds or design elements (1-5) Medium detail vectors icon sets (5-15), ornament sets (5-15), medium detail cartoons, silhouettes, backgrounds or design element sets (5-15) High detail vectors icon sets (15+) ornament sets (15+) high detail cartoons, illustrations, silhouettes, backgrounds or design element sets (15+) Super high detail exceptionally high detail illustrations, icon sets, backgrounds or design elements These categories are assigned to the files by the Stockxpert review team.
